A Family Business

The family business of Ivanhoe was founded in 1946 in Gällstad, a district known as Sweden’s own knitting centre, where the traditions and pioneering spirit of fine garment making still live on. The company was founded by Martin Gothäger in 1946, and has since the 80’s been run by his three sons. Today, the third generation are the ones taking the business forward, with pride and hopes for the future.

Sustainable Materials

Ivanhoe prides themselves on continually improving and providing sustainable products. Throughout their collections, they use mulesing-free merino wool, bluesign certified yarn, 100% natural wool garments created without the use of dyes, chemicals and water, and linings made of recycled PET-bottles.

The life span of the garment is as important as choosing the right fiber when talking about sustainable fashion. From base layers to hoodies and jackets, the Ivanhoe collections focus on timeless designs with a classic touch to ensure many years of enjoyable use.
